The highly trained staff at Vogt's has a wide range of experiences at your fingertips. We pride ourselves on being able to provide the Lehigh Valley with one of the few places that can offer on-site services for your jewelry needs. Vogt's has always been a hands on store so that we can have the greatest control over your precious items.

Our intake process is important to us and should be important to you. We take the time to note an accurate description of your item (s) with the details of the work to be done. Occasionally a question or concern does arise after leaving your item (s) and a sales associate or a jeweler will call to discuss it with you.

Appraisals

Generally all items purchased from us with a value of $1,200 or greater automatically receives a formal Value and Grading Report. However, on items under $1,200 you may request a written Value and Grading Report if your detailed receipt is not satisfactory. There is a nominal fee for updating a Value and Grading Report.

In addition, we do offer appraisal services for items not purchased from Vogt's. On a scheduled day during each month we have a certified independent Graduate Gemologist to value your items, done while you wait. Written documentation and value follows about 1 week later. Jewelry Repair

Our 3 full time on-site jewelers have 100 combined years of experience with graduates from Bowman Technical Institute and Rochester Institute of Technology. Our staff has been with us as long as 35 years.  We are capable of handling everything from sizings, solderings, setting of stones, to the most complicated of repairs. We work with 14kt, 18kt and Platinum.  We are widely stocked in items such as earring backs and ring guards that can be handled for you while you wait. Be assured that we take the utmost care and pride when we are skillfully working on your precious item (s) Laser welder - New since 2005.  Our new state of the art LASER welder greatly expands our repair and manufacturing capabilities.

Watch Repair

Need a battery quickly? Six of our staff members are industry trained to attend to your battery changes while you wait. Although we have 2 graduate watchmakers on staff, we do not have a "dust free" environment for longer repairs and therefore, we need to send them to certified watchmakers who have been factory trained in the industry by companies such as Rolex, Breitling, and Ebel

Pearl Stringing

We have 2 full time staff members to attend to your stringing needs. They are skilled in many techniques for a variety of different pearl and bead styles. Just like our jewelry repairs, we use only the finest products available in the industry.

We have exceptional quality pearls to start an add-a-pearl necklace for your daughter or granddaughter.

Engraving

We offer both hand and machine engraving for items purchased here. Hand engraving is a wonderful and special process in which an artist skillfully carves out words or symbols in Sterling, Gold or Platinum to create a one of a kind, heirloom quality work of art. 

Machine engraving is also a wonderful way to personalize your gift, whether it is a ring, bracelet, locket, or one of our beautiful baby items.


Custom Design

From the beginning concepts of design, to carving a wax, to the finish work of polishing and setting, it is without a doubt our timeliest of services. In 2000 we expanded our custom design department and abilities considerably. Custom designing can be rewarding to both the customer as well as our staff members. We thrive on creativity. After all, that is what jewelry is all about.
